Interior design
Individual rooms and full homes, designed with a personal touch across York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and North Yorkshire.
Rooms designed around how you live
Whether it’s a single refreshed room or a full house of considered spaces, every project starts with how you actually live — then brings in the colour, texture and detail that make it feel like home.
Kitchens
The heart of the house. Reclaimed brick, an inset range and open shelving keep this kitchen warm and practical — a room that works hard and still feels lived in.
Sitting rooms & snugs
Deep blue walls, leather and books. These are rooms built around the way a family actually sits down in the evening — comfortable first, considered throughout.
Bedrooms & bathrooms
Quieter spaces, where pattern and texture do the work — a roll-top bath on patterned tile, soft headboards, and generous layers of white linen.
Fabric, colour & detail
The finishing layer. Blinds, cushions, lamps and floor tiles chosen last but planned from the very beginning.
"Pip has been wonderful to work with. She has advised and supported us in transforming a room that had not worked for some time into a room that we love! All details were covered, from wall colour to window dressing to door handles, nothing was overlooked."

Interior design — common questions
What's included in a single-room design service?
A full concept for the room — layout, colour palette, furniture, lighting and finishing touches — plus sourcing and coordinating everything so it comes together exactly as planned.
Can I keep some of my existing furniture and just update the rest?
Yes — many projects build around pieces you already love. I’ll work out what to keep, what to refresh and what to replace, so the room feels cohesive rather than like a mismatched patchwork.
How long does a typical room design take, from concept to completion?
Most single-room projects run from a few weeks for concept and sourcing through to a few months for the full delivery, depending on lead times for furniture and any trades involved. I’ll give you a realistic timeline once we’ve discussed your project.
