The kitchen
A vaulted, glazed extension gave the kitchen height and light. Painted cabinetry, a butcher-block island and a walk-in pantry keep it working as the busiest room in the house.
Living & dining rooms
The formal rooms were kept generous and calm — original proportions restored, fireplaces reinstated, and a new orangery opening the ground floor out to the garden.
Bedrooms & dressing rooms
Six bedrooms, each with fitted joinery made for the space it sits in. Soft colour, plenty of storage and windows left to do the talking.
Bathrooms & landings
Circular windows, roll-top baths and a run of green tile. The landings connect it all with oak joinery and a chandelier at the turn of the stair.
The house & grounds
A full refurbishment inside and out, from the stone elevations and porch to the paddocks, cottage and stables beyond.

Both — I take on full, whole-house refurbishments like The Old Rectory, as well as single-room projects, so the scope is entirely shaped around what your property needs.
Do you project-manage builders and trades, or design only?
I offer both. Many clients want the design and full project management of builders and trades handled for them; others prefer design only and manage their own team — either way works.
Can you work with listed or period properties?
Yes, I regularly work with listed and period properties, balancing their character and any heritage requirements with a comfortable, modern-feeling home.
